Do I have to listen?

Absolutely.  Listening is far more important than you may know.  We can deliver content to your audience, but if it’s not compelling, or attractive, they won’t hear it.  We’ll both need to be listening to the audience to learn what is compelling. Then we’ll better develop content that will PULL the audience in.

What makes New Media different than old methods?

There are many aspects of the New Media revolution that are beneficial to effective marketing.  One is the ability for peer-to-peer communication.  Your audience can participate in a threaded conversation with you and others in the audience, and this is a great catalyst for collaboration.  Another is the ability for members of your community to share your information with others outside your network.  This is known as becoming ‘viral.’  Your information spreads like a virus… and that’s a good thing.

What’s the difference between a BLOG and a LIBRARY?
A traditional BLOG posts content and allows for updates by the author and comments by the audience.  Our SMT LIBRARY has all the aspects of a BLOG along with several static web site attributes.  We’ve also built in functionality that is common to social networkers.  Everyone knows that visiting a library will result in learning something new.  That’s our objective online.
